Just need a computer and some inspiration...
One of my favorite memories from my childhood occurred on Sunday afternoons after my family got back home from Sunday School. Me and my mom would go into Tallowood's library and pick out a VHS to watch. We went through a Shirley Temple phase, where Shirley Temple movies were all we would watch. It would go like this: drive home with Shirley Temple movie; mom makes us a pb&j with grapes and chips; she shuts the blinds in the living room; we sit down and snuggle up on the ugly 90's couch in our living room of the house I grew up in. The most specific memory is watching a movie in broad daylight. Turning the lights off and having the light from the midday sun outside creep through the tiny slits in the blinds is what comforted me and is what still brings me comfort to this day. I don't know why I have kept this memory alive for so long. Perhaps it's the comfort and belonging of home that I like to remember at a moment's notice. No matter what the reason, I will always love being lazy on a Sunday afternoon and watching a movie in broad daylight with the sun shining through the blinds.
Sunday Afternoons Freewrite

This is just a free-write from my daybook. We took five to ten minutes writing freely about a topic from our "100 Things" List, and this is what I wrote about.
